Jeffrey Lewis has transposed this musical ballad into the comic book form, which quite naturally encapsulates the absurdity and humour of the ballad. Some day Jeffrey Lewis would like to do comics of all the ballads in the Anthology. New Yorker Jeffrey Lewis is a performer with several albums out on Rough Trade Records.
